It is understandable how this is the highest mountain in Texas - it's the only one there is.
More cacti - after seeing so much snow they just look weird.
The moral of the story is that Texans are trustworthy when it comes to snow.
This is as far as we made it - wading through the snow, freezing in the wind and generally being very tired.
We got to a nice plateau before the final push and found the real 4 feet of snow lying in the last 1/2 mile to the peak.
